We won the London Brass Band Championship |

Max Portsmouth, Stephen Redstone and Ralph Chaplin took up ‘Printing’ as an activity becoming a popular activity until mid 1990’s |

The 1963’s New uniform was adopted into the company |
The Life Boys integrated as the Junior Section of The BB and a new HQ building at Parsons Green |

1st Slough Feature on the BB Gazette (Graham Adnitt, David Smith and Robert Collison. modelling the rejected proposed new uniforms for Sections) |

Slough Methodist Central renamed St Andrews Methodist Church |
Last Exchange visit to the FDR in Denmark. A 2 week adventure including 7 days staying with FDR families and a 7 day coach tour of Denmark. |

1st Slough Lead the London Central Brass Band for the London’s Ceremonial engagements during the Year. |
There were many musical Events that year, including a few major events: Lord Mayors Show, the Royal Tournament, our performances of the last BB London Display held in the Albert Hall, the Royal Review in Edinburgh and the Centenary in Glasgow. |

Preparation for the complex marching and playing routine that the 300 strong band performed on the hallowed turf of the Ibrox Park soccer stadium, a weekend training course was held at the Royal Marine Barracks at Portsmouth |
